Car
If you are travelling by car, start from the main roads in Lihou. Drive towards the coast where you will find the Lihou Causeway. Make sure to check the tide times as the causeway is only accessible at certain periods. Park your car at the designated parking area near the causeway. Then, proceed on foot across the causeway to reach Lihou Island. The walk is about a 10-15 minute stroll over the causeway.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a local bus to the nearest stop to the Lihou Causeway. From Lihou, use the Guernsey public transport website or app to find the latest bus schedule and route information. Once you arrive at the bus stop closest to the causeway, walk to the causeway entrance. Please remember to check tide schedules, as the causeway is only accessible at low tide, and plan your return trip accordingly.
On Foot
If you are already in Lihou and prefer to walk, make your way to the coast, following local signs pointing towards Lihou Causeway. The walk should take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on your starting point in Lihou. Again, ensure that you are aware of the tide times to avoid getting stranded on the island.
