Getting There

  • Car

If you are driving, start from St. Peter Port and head towards the west on the B53 road. Follow the signs for Lihou Island. Once you reach the Lihou causeway, park your car at the designated lot. Please note that there is a small parking fee, typically around £2. After parking, walk towards the causeway which leads directly to Lihou Island. The causeway is accessible only during low tide, so make sure to check the tide times before your visit.

  • Public Transportation

Take a bus from St. Peter Port to the nearest bus stop in the vicinity of Lihou. The Guernsey public bus service operates several routes; you can take Route 91 or 92. Once you get off at the nearest stop, which is at the end of the causeway, you will need to walk the remaining distance towards the island. Again, ensure you check the tide times to confirm the causeway is accessible.

  • Walking from the Causeway

Once you are on the causeway, walk straight ahead towards Lihou Island. The Victoria Tower is located at the northern end of the island. The walk is scenic and takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Keep an eye out for the island's unique flora and fauna along the path, and enjoy the coastal views.

  • Access to Victoria Tower

Upon reaching Victoria Tower, you will find information regarding visiting hours. Make sure to check the opening times, as the tower is only open between 10:00 AM and 3:30 PM.
