Experience Portelet Bay

Getting There

  • Car

    From Pleinmont Point, head north on the main road (Route de Pleinmont) towards the A30. Continue straight for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the A30. Drive for another 1.2 miles, then take the left exit toward St. Martin's. Continue on the B20 for about 1.8 miles until you reach a junction. Turn right onto the B20 towards Portelet. Follow this road for about 0.5 miles until you see signs for Portelet Bay. Turn left into the parking area. Note that there may be parking fees applicable, typically around £1-£2 for a few hours.

  • Public Transport

    From Pleinmont Point, you can take bus route 91 or 92 from the nearest bus stop on Route de Pleinmont. The bus will take you towards St. Helier. You need to alight at the stop for 'St. Martin's Church' after approximately 15 minutes. From there, transfer to bus route 93 towards Portelet Bay. The bus ride should take around 10 minutes. Once you get off at the Portelet stop, it's just a short walk down to the beach. Bus fares are generally around £2 for a single journey.

    If you are feeling adventurous and up for a walk, you can walk from Pleinmont Point to Portelet Bay. Starting from Pleinmont Point, head east along the coastal path.
