Getting There

Walking
From the center of St. Sampson, head towards the St. Sampson's Harbour. Walk along the coast on the south side of the harbour, following the coastline. Continue walking until you reach the end of the bay, where you will find a footpath that leads towards the cliffs. Follow the footpath along the cliffs, keeping the sea on your right. This path will take you closer to Fort Clonque, which is located on a small island. After approximately 30 minutes of walking, you will see Fort Clonque ahead. At low tide, you can walk across to the fort via the exposed causeway. Be sure to check the tide times to plan your visit accordingly.

Public Transport (Bus)
From St. Sampson, take bus route 91 or 92 towards Alderney. The bus stop is located near the harbor. Ask the driver for the stop closest to Fort Clonque. Once you get off the bus, you may need to walk for about 15 minutes to reach Fort Clonque. Follow the signs directing you towards the coast, and then walk along the footpath that leads to the fort. Make sure to check the bus schedule for return times to St. Sampson.
