    Car

    If you are driving from anywhere in Torteval, head towards the main road (Route de Torteval) which leads to the south coast. Continue straight until you reach the junction at Route de la Hollande. Turn left onto Route de la Hollande and follow this road, which will take you past the beautiful countryside. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will come to a roundabout. Take the second exit onto Route de la Mare, following the signs for Portelet Bay. Continue on this road until you see signs for the beach. There is parking available nearby, but there may be a small fee depending on the season.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Portelet Bay via public transportation, start at the nearest bus stop in Torteval. Take bus line 91 or 92 towards St. Martin’s. The bus will take you along the scenic routes of Guernsey. Get off at the stop labeled 'Portelet.' From there, it is a short walk of about 10 minutes down the hill towards the bay. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as service may vary. A ticket for the bus costs around £2.50 one way.
