From the center of Faranah, start by heading towards the main road that connects Faranah to the surrounding villages. Look for the sign directing towards the direction of the Kangari Hills. Walk along the main road for approximately 3 kilometers until you reach the junction leading to Baoma. At this junction, you will see a small sign indicating the route to Baoma. Continue along this road, keeping an eye out for local transport options like shared taxis or motorbikes, which can take you further if you prefer not to walk the entire distance.

Motorbike Taxi
Once you reach the junction towards Baoma, you can hire a motorbike taxi. Negotiate a fare with the driver and tell them you want to go to the Kangari Hills Forest Reserve. The ride should take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they know the location of the reserve. They will drop you off at the nearest point to the entrance of the reserve.

Local Transport (Shared Taxi)
At the main junction in Faranah, you can also find shared taxis heading towards Baoma. Get into one of these taxis and inform the driver of your destination. The shared taxi will take you directly towards Baoma, and it will be a more economical option. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes. After reaching Baoma, you can either walk the remaining distance to the forest reserve or hire another motorbike taxi to take you directly to the entrance.
