Car
If you are driving from the center of Macenta, head southwest on Route Nationale 1. Continue straight for about 5 kilometers until you reach the intersection near the Macenta market. Turn right onto the road leading to Grande Mosquée de Macenta, which is marked with local signs. The mosque is located approximately 1 kilometer down this road. Look for the prominent structure on your left.
Public Transportation
You can take a local taxi or minibus from the main taxi station in Macenta. Look for a vehicle heading towards the Grande Mosquée area. The fare should be around 1,500 Guinean Francs (GNF). Inform the driver of your destination, and they will drop you off close to the mosque. From there, it’s a short walk of about 200 meters to reach the entrance.

If you are already near the center of Macenta, you can walk to Grande Mosquée de Macenta. Head southwest from the main plaza, following the signs towards the mosque. The journey should take about 15-20 minutes on foot, covering approximately 1.5 kilometers. Walk past local shops and markets, which can be quite vibrant and provide a taste of local life.
