Keep an eye out for local shops and eateries as you walk; this area is bustling with activity. After approximately 10 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the junction where the road forks. Take the right fork and continue straight for another 15 minutes, passing by several local residences and small businesses. Eventually, you will see the Non-Aligned Monument ahead. It is located in a park-like area, marked by its distinct structure and surrounded by greenery.

  If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Bartica waterfront and ride south along the main road towards the center of town. As you approach the Bartica Market, slow down and carefully navigate the intersection. After crossing the market area, keep going straight until you reach the fork in the road. At the fork, take the right turn and continue riding straight for about 15 minutes. You’ll pass various shops and local attractions on your way. Once you see the Non-Aligned Monument in the distance, park your bicycle nearby and enjoy the site.

  From any central point in Bartica, locate the nearest minibus stop, typically near the Bartica Market. Board a minibus heading towards the Georgetown area; confirm with the driver that they stop near the Non-Aligned Monument. The fare is usually minimal, and the ride will take about 20 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the closest stop to the Non-Aligned Monument. Once you get off, walk a short distance towards the monument, following the signs or asking locals for directions if needed.
