After approximately 30 minutes of driving, you will arrive at the coordinates 6.3781, -58.6889, which is the location of Fort Kyk-Over-Al. Please ensure to have a GPS or map application handy, as some roads may not be well-marked.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can catch a minibus or taxi from Berbice River to St. Edwards Mission. The fare is typically around 200 GYD (Guyanese Dollars). Once you arrive at St. Edwards Mission, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to take you to Fort Kyk-Over-Al. The distance is approximately 5 kilometers, and walking will take about an hour.
