From the center of Lethem, head south on the main street (which is the Takutu Road). Continue walking straight for about 10 to 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with the Amerindian Heritage Monument on your left. At this intersection, turn right onto a smaller path leading towards the football field. Walk alongside the football field, keeping it on your left. After the football field, you will see a signpost for The 1763 Monument. Follow the path indicated by the sign, and you will arrive at The 1763 Monument, which is a significant landmark commemorating the 1763 slave revolt in Guyana.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Lethem. Start at the main square and head south on Takutu Road. You will be cycling for approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Look for the Amerindian Heritage Monument on your left as a landmark. When you reach the intersection, make a right turn and cycle towards the football field. Keep the field on your left, and soon you will see the signpost for The 1763 Monument. Follow the directions given by the sign, and you will reach the monument.
