From Mahaica-Berbice, take the East Coast Demerara Road (also known as the Public Road) heading southwest towards Georgetown. Continue for about 15 miles until you reach the intersection with the Linden/Soesdyke Highway (also known as the Mackenzie Highway). Turn right onto the Linden/Soesdyke Highway and drive for about 30 miles until you reach the town of Linden. In Linden, look for signs directing you to the Kaieteur Falls tour operators. The drive will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic conditions.

To reach Kaieteur Falls via public transportation, catch a minibus from Mahaica to Georgetown. The fare is usually around GYD 200-300. Once in Georgetown, transfer to a minibus heading to Linden, which will cost approximately GYD 400-500. Upon reaching Linden, you will need to arrange a tour to Kaieteur Falls as there are no direct public transport options to the falls. Tour operators often provide transportation from Linden to the falls, which may cost around GYD 10,000-15,000 for the round trip.
