If you are traveling by car, start from the main town of Anna Regina in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Head southeast on the Pomeroon Road (also known as the Anna Regina Road) towards the junction with the Georgetown Road. Take a left to merge onto the Georgetown Road. Continue driving for approximately 40 kilometers until you reach Georgetown. The 1763 Monument is located at RR3X+XP4, Georgetown. Once you arrive in Georgetown, look for the monument near the waterfront area. There is no parking fee in the vicinity, but be mindful of parking regulations.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a minibus from Anna Regina to Georgetown. The minibuses regularly depart from the Anna Regina bus park. The fare is typically around 500 GYD per person. Once you arrive in Georgetown, disembark at the main bus terminal. From there, you can take a taxi or walk to the 1763 Monument, which is approximately a 15-minute walk. If you choose to take a taxi, the fare should be around 300-500 GYD, depending on your negotiation skills. The monument will be located at RR3X+XP4.
