At this junction, take a left turn onto the Corentyne Highway. Keep an eye out for public transportation options, as there may be minibuses or taxis available for a small fare to Georgetown. If you choose to continue walking, proceed along the highway for approximately 20 kilometers, passing through several small towns and rural areas. Once you reach the outskirts of Georgetown, look for signs directing you towards D'Urban Park, which is located at RV32+QF5 in the city.
Minibus
From Skeldon, walk to the nearest minibus terminal (often located near the main road). Board a minibus heading to Georgetown; these typically leave regularly throughout the day. The fare is usually inexpensive and the journey may take around 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Georgetown, ask the driver to drop you off near the Botanical Gardens, which is a well-known landmark close to D'Urban Park. From the Botanical Gardens, you can walk to D'Urban Park by heading north on the road towards the park, which should take about 10-15 minutes.
Bicycle
