From Bassin-Bleu, head southeast on Route 1 (RN1) towards Les Cayes. Continue on RN1 for about 15 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 2. Turn right onto Route 2 and follow the road for approximately 10 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Isla de la Tortuga. Once you reach the ferry terminal, park your car and purchase a ferry ticket to Isla de la Tortuga. The ferry ride will take about 30 minutes. Upon arrival, follow the signs to Haut Palmiste, which is located at 279F+5W2 in Pon Vicen. It will be a short walk from the ferry dock.

To reach Haut Palmiste by public transportation, start by taking a tap-tap (shared taxi) from Bassin-Bleu to Les Cayes. The fare is approximately 50 HTG. Once in Les Cayes, you will need to find a tap-tap heading towards Route 2. After about 10 kilometers on Route 2, get off at the nearest point to Isla de la Tortuga. From there, you will need to walk to the ferry terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry ride to Isla de la Tortuga (about 200 HTG), and then walk to Haut Palmiste at 279F+5W2, Pon Vicen, which is a short distance from the ferry dock.
