Car
From Côtes-de-Fer, head northeast on Route Nationale #2 (RN2). Continue on RN2 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route de Terre Noire. Turn left onto Route de Terre Noire and drive about 10 kilometers. Look for the signs for Carlbois, which will be near the coordinates 59R4+JQ, Terre Noire. Parking may be available nearby, but be prepared for basic conditions.
Public Transportation
Take a tap-tap (shared taxi) from the main terminal in Côtes-de-Fer heading towards Terre Noire. Make sure to inform the driver you want to stop at Carlbois. The journey should take around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. The fare is generally around 100 HTG per person. After arriving in Terre Noire, you may need to walk for about 15 minutes to reach the specific location of Carlbois at 59R4+JQ. Ensure you have cash on hand, as most tap-taps do not accept cards.
