Walking
Starting from the central market in Gonaïves (Marché de Gonaïves), head south on Rue de la Réserve until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la Liberté. Turn right onto Avenue de la Liberté and continue walking straight. After about 10 minutes, you will reach a large intersection. At this point, continue straight onto Rue de l'Indépendance. Memorial de l'Indépendance will be located a few minutes ahead on your left at the coordinates C8X4+4X4. Look for the tall monument, which is hard to miss.
