If you are starting from the Gonaïves city center, head towards Rue de l'Indépendance. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de la République. Turn left onto Rue de la République and continue walking until you reach the end of the street. You will then turn right onto Rte de Descahos. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer. Place Pétion will be on your left side, marked clearly with signs.

Bicycle
If you have a bicycle, start from the city center and ride towards Rue de l'Indépendance. Proceed straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de la République. Turn left onto Rue de la République and keep going until you hit Rte de Descahos. Take a right on Rte de Descahos and cycle for about 1 kilometer. Place Pétion will be on your left. Make sure to watch out for traffic as you maneuver through the streets.

Motorbike (if available for rent)
For those using a rented motorbike, begin at the city center and navigate towards Rue de l'Indépendance. Continue riding straight until you arrive at the intersection with Rue de la République. Make a left turn onto Rue de la République and ride until you reach Rte de Descahos. Take a right onto Rte de Descahos and proceed for approximately 1 kilometer. You will find Place Pétion on your left side; look for the signs indicating its presence.
