From the center of Hinche, head southwest on Rue 25 towards Rue 8. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route Nationale 3. At the intersection, turn left onto Route Nationale 3. Follow this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of the town. You'll see signs for Fort Picolet as you approach the area. Continue walking straight until you reach a fork in the road, and take the right path that leads towards the coastal area. Walk for another 500 meters, and you will arrive at Fort Picolet.

Find a local motorbike taxi (also known as 'moto-taxi') in the center of Hinche. Tell the driver you want to go to Fort Picolet. The driver will take you to Route Nationale 3. You will travel approximately 1.5 kilometers on the main road. Make sure to keep an eye out for the sign indicating the turnoff to Fort Picolet. Once you reach the coastal area, the driver can drop you off near the entrance.
