If you have a rental car, start from the main town of Île-à-Vache. Head south towards the coast, following the main road. Continue until you reach the intersection with Route Nationale 2 (RN2). Turn left onto RN2 and drive towards Duplantin. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Pic Macaya National Park. The park entrance, located at 9XCJ+9MX, will be on your right. Parking is available near the entrance, but ensure to secure your vehicle.

Public Transportation (Tap Tap)
To reach Pic Macaya National Park by public transportation, find a Tap Tap (shared taxi) in Île-à-Vache. These colorful vehicles operate along the main routes. Ask the driver to take you to Duplantin. The ride typically costs around 100 HTG (Haitian Gourdes) and takes about 30-45 minutes, depending on road conditions. Once dropped off, walk about 10 minutes to the park entrance at 9XCJ+9MX. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will stop close to the park.

If you're already in Duplantin, you can walk to Pic Macaya National Park. From the center of Duplantin, head south along the main road towards the coast. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the park entrance at 9XCJ+9MX. Ensure to wear comfortable shoes, as the path may be uneven.
