If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Sud-Est and head south on Route Nationale No 2. Continue driving for approximately 30 km until you reach Les Cayes. The Cayes Botanical Garden is located along Route Nationale No 2 in Les Cayes, specifically at address 8110. Look for signage indicating the garden as you approach.
Public Transportation (Tap-Tap)
To reach the Cayes Botanical Garden via public transportation, locate a tap-tap (shared taxi) heading towards Les Cayes. These can typically be found at central hubs in Sud-Est. Inform the driver or conductor that you wish to visit the Cayes Botanical Garden. The fare is usually around 100 HTG, but confirm the price before boarding. The journey will take about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Les Cayes, ask to be dropped off near Route Nationale No 2; the garden will be a short walk from there.
Motorbike Taxi (Motos)
Another option is to take a motorbike taxi (moto) from your location in Sud-Est directly to the garden. You can find motos at popular gathering points. The fare should be negotiated but expect to pay around 150-200 HTG for the trip.
