Walking
From the center of Les Cayes, head east on Rue de la République toward Avenue Général A. L. Gousse. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the main bus station at Place de la Victoire. Here, you will find local tap-taps (shared taxis) heading towards Petit Goave. Board a tap-tap with a sign indicating Petit Goave. The ride will take approximately 1 hour, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Petit Goave, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Kokoye Beach. From there, you may need to walk for about 15 minutes to reach the beach. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions.

Starting from the central area of Les Cayes, find your way to the main bus station (Place de la Victoire). There you will find tap-taps heading to Petit Goave. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will take you to Petit Goave. The fare is usually quite inexpensive, and the journey will take around 1 hour. Once you arrive in Petit Goave, ask locals for directions to Kokoye Beach or look for signs. It’s a short walk from the main road to the beach.
