If you are driving, start from the center of Port-au-Prince. Head northwest on Route Nationale 1. Continue on this route for about 12 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 9. Turn left onto Route 9 and continue for about 6 kilometers. You will see signs for Grande Place. Once you reach Grande Place, look for VHXV+285 on your GPS or navigation app. The Fort Drouet will be nearby.

Public Transportation
To use public transportation, first head to the nearest tap-tap station in Port-au-Prince. Look for a tap-tap going towards Carrefour. Ride the tap-tap for about 30 minutes until you reach the Carrefour stop. From there, catch another tap-tap heading to Grande Place. The fare for the first tap-tap is around 25 HTG and the second tap-tap will cost about the same. Once you reach Grande Place, you can ask locals for directions to VHXV+285, where Fort Drouet is located.
