Walking
Start at the center of Saint-Marc, near the main market. Head south on Rue 1 until you reach the main road (Route Nationale 1). It’s a straight path and should take approximately 10-15 minutes. Along the way, you can enjoy local shops and street vendors. Once you reach Route Nationale 1, look for a sign for Jacmel to your left and continue walking along this road.
Motorbike Taxi (Mototaxi)
From the central square in Saint-Marc, find a mototaxi stand. Ask for a ride to Jacmel, specifying to drop you off at Rue Sainte Anne. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. The mototaxi drivers are familiar with the area, so they will know the best route to take.
Shared Van (Tap Tap)
Locate the tap tap station in Saint-Marc, usually near the main square. Look for a tap tap heading to Jacmel. The fare is quite affordable, generally around 50 HTG. Once you are on the tap tap, it will take approximately 1 hour to reach Jacmel. Be sure to tell the driver to drop you off at Rue Sainte Anne, which is close to your destination.
