Walking
Start from the center of Saint-Marc, near the Cathedral of Saint-Marc. Head northeast on Boulevard de l'Indépendance towards Rue St. François. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Route Nationale 1. Turn left onto Route Nationale 1 and walk approximately 2 km. After passing the small local shops and food stalls, look for signs directing to Milot. Continue on Route Nationale 1 for another 5 km. When you reach Milot, you will see signs for Sans Souci Palace. Follow the signs for about 1 km until you arrive at the entrance of Sans Souci Palace.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Saint-Marc. Start at the Cathedral of Saint-Marc and head northeast on Boulevard de l'Indépendance. Ride straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Route Nationale 1. Turn left onto Route Nationale 1 and continue cycling for approximately 7 km. Keep an eye out for the signs to Milot and Sans Souci Palace as you ride. Once you arrive in Milot, follow the signs for another 1 km to reach the palace.
Motorbike Taxi
In Saint-Marc, you can find motorbike taxis (also known as 'moto-taxis') available throughout the city. Approach a moto-taxi driver near the Cathedral of Saint-Marc and inform them that you want to go to Sans Souci Palace in Milot. The journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will take you along Route Nationale 1, where you can enjoy the scenery as you head towards Milot. They will drop you off at the entrance to the palace.
Local Bus
To reach Sans Souci Palace using public transport, locate the local bus terminal in Saint-Marc, which is near the Cathedral of Saint-Marc. Look for a bus heading to Milot. The fare is usually very affordable. Once on the bus, it will take around 30-40 minutes to reach Milot. Ensure to inform the driver or conductor that you want to stop at Sans Souci Palace. They will drop you off nearby, and you may need to walk a short distance to the entrance of the palace.
