You will eventually reach a junction; take the road towards the border and follow it until you reach the area near River El Mulito. Note that the road can be bumpy, so drive carefully. Look for local signs as you get closer, or ask locals for the best route to the river.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, start by taking a tap-tap (shared taxi) from Jacmel to Petit Goave. The fare is typically around 100 HTG. Once you reach Petit Goave, you can find another tap-tap heading towards the Dominican Republic border. Confirm with the driver that they are going to the area near River El Mulito, as routes may vary. The fare for this leg of the journey is approximately 150 HTG. After arriving at the border area, you may need to walk the last portion to the river, which could take about 30 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.

Bicycle
