Follow the signs for Mahogany Beach which will lead you to the entrance. There is parking available near the beach, which may incur a small fee. Make sure to keep an eye out for local signs to ensure you are on the right track.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Mahogany Beach via public transportation, you can take a local bus (often referred to as 'chicken buses') from either West End or Coxen Hole. Look for a bus that specifically mentions Mahogany Beach or ask the driver to drop you off there. The cost is typically around 30 Lempiras (about $1.25). The journey may take around 30 minutes, depending on the bus stops and traffic. Once you arrive, walk toward the beach entrance, which is usually well marked.
Taxi
For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi. You can hail a taxi from any location in Bay Islands. Inform the driver that you want to go to Mahogany Beach. The fare from West End or Coxen Hole should be around 200-400 Lempiras (approximately $8-$16) depending on your starting point. Walking (from nearby locations)
