Continue on this road for approximately 45 kilometers (about 28 miles) until you reach the intersection near the village of Iriona. Turn left onto a smaller road leading to WVVG+87. Keep following the signs for La Sabana. There should be local signage guiding you toward the historical landmark. Note that the road conditions may vary, so be cautious.
Public Transportation
To reach La Sabana using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Tocoa to Iriona. Buses leave regularly from the central bus terminal in Tocoa and the fare is usually around 50 Lempiras (approximately $2). The journey takes about an hour. Once you arrive in Iriona, ask locals for the direction to WVVG+87.
