Car
If you are driving from Trujillo, head southwest on the CA-13 highway. Continue for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the intersection towards La Mosquitia. Turn right onto the road towards Las Mangas and follow the signs. After about 15 kilometers, look for a small sign indicating La Tarraloza. The final stretch will be on a dirt road, so proceed with caution. Parking is available near the site.
Public Transportation
From Trujillo, take a local bus that heads towards La Mosquitia. Buses typically leave from the main bus terminal. The fare is usually around 50 Lempiras. Inform the driver that you want to go to Las Mangas. Once you arrive at Las Mangas, you will need to hire a local taxi to take you the remaining 7 kilometers to La Tarraloza. The taxi fare should be around 100-150 Lempiras.
Taxi
If you are in a nearby town such as Tocoa, consider hiring a local taxi directly to La Tarraloza. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it should cost between 300 to 400 Lempiras depending on your starting point. Provide the driver with the address 'GMPM+GR, Las Mangas, Colón' to ensure they take you to the correct location.
