Car
If you are driving, start from the town of Copán Ruinas. Take the road towards the west out of town, following signs for Santa Rosa de Copán. After approximately 7 kilometers, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork (the road is labeled for Quebrada Sesesmil). Continue on this road for about 3 kilometers until you see a sign for Quebrada Sesesmil on your right. Park at the designated area, and from there, you will need to walk a short distance to reach the site.
Public Transportation
To reach Quebrada Sesesmil using public transportation, first head to the main bus terminal in Copán Ruinas. Look for a bus heading toward Santa Rosa de Copán. Inform the driver that you wish to stop at Quebrada Sesesmil. The fare is approximately 30 Lempira. The bus will drop you off at the fork in the road after about 30 minutes. From the drop-off point, you will need to walk about 3 kilometers down the road to reach the entrance of Quebrada Sesesmil.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, you can start from Copán Ruinas and take the main road towards Santa Rosa de Copán. As you walk, keep an eye out for the fork in the road, where you will take the left path towards Quebrada Sesesmil. The walk is approximately 10 kilometers and can take around 2-3 hours, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry plenty of water.
