If you're starting from the central plaza of Copán Ruinas, head southeast on Avenida 1 until you reach the intersection with Calle 4. Turn left onto Calle 4 and continue straight for about 500 meters. You'll notice the signs directing you towards the Copán archaeological site. As you walk, enjoy the local shops and eateries along the way. After around 10 minutes of walking, you will reach the entrance to the Copán Ruins, which is well-marked.
