    If you're starting from the central plaza of Copán Ruinas, head southeast on Avenida 1 until you reach the intersection with Calle 4. Turn left onto Calle 4 and continue straight for about 500 meters. You'll notice the signs directing you towards the Copán archaeological site. As you walk, enjoy the local shops and eateries along the way. After around 10 minutes of walking, you will reach the entrance to the Copán Ruins, which is well-marked.

    For a bicycle ride, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Copán Ruinas. Start at the central plaza and head south on Avenida 1, then make a left onto Calle 4.
