Car
If you are driving to Laguna View, start from the main entrance of Cusuco National Park. Head east on the main road until you reach the intersection where you can turn left towards Chachahuala. Continue on this road for about 20-30 minutes, following the signs for Chachahuala. Once you arrive in Chachahuala, look for the PV2V+C9 coordinates on your GPS or maps app to guide you to the exact location of Laguna View. The drive should take approximately 1 hour from the park entrance, depending on road conditions.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from San Pedro Sula to Chachahuala. Buses leave frequently throughout the day from the central bus station. The bus fare is usually around 50-70 Lempiras. Once you arrive in Chachahuala, you will need to find a local taxi to reach Laguna View. The taxi fare should be around 100-150 Lempiras, depending on your negotiation skills. Ensure you ask the driver to take you to the PV2V+C9 location to reach Laguna View.
Walking (from Chachahuala)
If you prefer to walk from Chachahuala, you can do so by heading towards the coordinates PV2V+C9. The walk is about 2 kilometers from the center of Chachahuala and should take you roughly 30-40 minutes. Ensure you follow the main paths and ask locals for directions if needed. It’s advisable to wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain can be uneven.
