Getting There

  • Car

    If you're traveling by car, head to the main entrance of Cusuco National Park. From there, follow the main road through the park. After approximately 15 kilometers, you will reach a sign indicating the direction to Mirador el Mosquitero. Continue on this road for about 5 more kilometers until you reach the parking area. Be cautious, as the road can be steep and may require a 4WD vehicle.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Mirador el Mosquitero via public transportation, take a bus from San Pedro Sula to Pinalejo. Once you arrive in Pinalejo, look for local taxis or mototaxis that can take you to the entrance of Cusuco National Park. From the park entrance, you will need to arrange for a local guide or hike the trail leading to the Mirador el Mosquitero, which is approximately 20 kilometers from the entrance.
