Car
From the main entrance of Cusuco National Park, head south on the main road (CA-4) towards San José del Cacao. Continue on CA-4 for approximately 12 kilometers. Take the exit towards San José del Cacao, then follow the signs for FP72+34. As you approach San José del Cacao, you will see the area marked FP72+34. Depending on the condition of the roads, a 4x4 vehicle may be advisable due to potential rough terrain.
Public Transportation
Start from the main park entrance and look for a bus or shuttle heading towards San José del Cacao. The bus ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in San José del Cacao, walk towards the direction of FP72+34. Depending on local availability, you may need to ask locals for the best route to reach the specific coordinates, as public transport may not directly reach Regadíllo.
Hiking
If you are already in Cusuco National Park, you may choose to hike to Regadíllo from the nearby trails. Ensure you have a map of the hiking trails. Head towards the main hiking route that leads towards the southern part of the park. Keep an eye on the trail markers, and after approximately 3 to 4 hours of hiking, you should reach the area around FP72+34. It is advisable to go with a guide if you are not familiar with the trails.
