    From the Eastern Plains, head northwest on the main highway towards Tegucigalpa. Follow the signs for 'Francisco Morazán.' After approximately 2 hours, you will reach the town of Valle de Ángeles. Continue straight on CA-5 for about 30 minutes until you see signs for 'Parque Nacional La Tigra.' Turn left onto the road leading to the park entrance. Note that there is a small entrance fee of around 50 Lempiras per person.

    To reach Parque Nacional La Tigra using public transportation, start by taking a bus from the main terminal in La Ceiba or Tegucigalpa to Valle de Ángeles. Buses leave regularly and the fare is approximately 100 Lempiras. Once you arrive in Valle de Ángeles, look for a local taxi or a motorcycle taxi (mototaxi) to take you to the park entrance. The fare for the short ride is about 50 Lempiras. Don't forget to ask the driver to take you to 'Parque Nacional La Tigra.' There is also an entrance fee of around 50 Lempiras per person.
