Car
From the central area of La Esperanza, take the RN-22 road heading towards Intibucá. Continue on RN-22 for approximately 10 kilometers. As you approach Laguna Cedillo, you will see signs indicating the entrance to the lagoon, which is located on your right. There is a parking area available for visitors.
Public Transportation
In La Esperanza, locate the bus terminal where you can catch a bus heading towards Intibucá. Make sure to ask the bus driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Laguna Cedillo. The ride typically takes around 30 to 45 minutes. Once you get off, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer towards the lagoon entrance. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Laguna Cedillo.
Walking
If you are already close to the RN-22 road, you can walk towards Laguna Cedillo from La Esperanza. Follow RN-22 in the direction of Intibucá for about 10 kilometers. Be cautious as this is a busy road; walking along the shoulder is advisable. Look for the signs indicating the entrance to Laguna Cedillo.
