Getting There

  If you are driving from La Paz city, head southwest on CA-5 towards San Pedro Sula. Continue on CA-5 for approximately 45 km. Take the exit toward Los Planes. Note that the last segment may require navigating through unpaved roads, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Cascada La Esperanza via public transport, take a bus from La Paz city to Los Planes. Buses leave regularly from the main bus terminal. Once you arrive in Los Planes, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to take you to the waterfall, which should cost around 100 Lempiras ($4 USD).
