    If you're driving from La Paz city, take the CA-5 highway north towards Tegucigalpa. After approximately 40 kilometers, take the exit toward Santa Barbara/La Esperanza (CA-4). Continue on CA-4 for about 30 kilometers, then take the exit towards Lake Yojoa. Follow the signs for Lake Yojoa, and you'll arrive at the lake in about 15 minutes. Make sure your vehicle has enough fuel, as there are limited gas stations along the route.

    From La Paz city, head to the main bus terminal and look for buses heading to Tegucigalpa. The fare is typically around L50 (about $2.50 US). Once in Tegucigalpa, transfer to a bus heading to Santa Barbara. This ride costs approximately L70 (about $3.50 US). After arriving in Santa Barbara, find a local bus or taxi that will take you to Lake Yojoa, which is about 15 kilometers away.
