If you are driving from La Paz city, start by heading north on CA-5 highway. Continue for approximately 70 km (about 1 hour 30 minutes) until you reach the intersection near Santa Rosa de Lima. From there, take the exit towards Guanales, following the signs. After approximately 20 km, you will reach the outskirts of Guanales. Look for signs directing you to Posa El Paso, which is located at HV33+RC. Parking is available near the entrance.

To reach Posa El Paso via public transportation, start by taking a bus from La Paz to Santa Rosa de Lima. The buses leave regularly from the main bus terminal. After arriving in Santa Rosa de Lima, you will need to transfer to a local bus heading towards Guanales. Make sure to inform the driver that you are going to Posa El Paso. Once you reach Guanales, ask locals for directions to the HV33+RC area where Posa El Paso is located. The total cost for the bus journey should be around 50 Lempiras.
