Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of La Paz. Take the CA-5 highway heading north towards Comayagua. After about 1 hour of driving, you will see signs for Comayagua. Continue on the CA-5 until you reach the exit for Comayagua. Once you enter Comayagua, look for signs directing you to Cerro El Picacho. Follow the local roads for approximately 15 kilometers. You will reach a parking area at the base of the mountain where you can leave your car.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can catch a bus from La Paz to Comayagua at the local bus terminal. The journey takes around 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Comayagua, look for a taxi or a local bus heading towards Cerro El Picacho. Tell the driver your destination; they are usually familiar with it. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes, and you should expect to pay around 200-300 Lempiras for the trip. Taxis can be shared with other passengers to reduce costs.
