Taxi/Ride-Share
From Coxen Hole (cruise port or airport), a taxi or pre-booked shuttle is the most convenient way to reach West Bay Beach. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Expect to pay between $26 and $32 for a taxi. Pre-booked shuttles may offer fixed rates. Be sure to negotiate the fare beforehand or confirm the price with the driver.
Water Taxi
If you are coming from West End, a water taxi is a scenic and quick option. Water taxis depart regularly from West End beach and arrive directly on West Bay Beach. The ride takes about 5-10 minutes and typically costs around $3 per person. Negotiate the price before boarding.
Driving
If driving from elsewhere on Roatan, follow the main road towards the West End. Once you reach the West Bay area, parking can be challenging, especially during peak hours. Paid parking is available behind Bananarama Resort. Expect to pay around $5-$10 for the day. Limited free street parking may be available near the entrance to West Bay Beach, but it fills up quickly. Some resorts offer day passes that include parking.
