From the central area of Santa Bárbara, head south on Calle 1 until you reach the intersection with the main road (CA-4). Turn left onto CA-4 and continue for about 10 kilometers. You will see signs pointing towards Cuevas de Talgua. Follow the signs, and then take a right turn onto Boulevard Las Acacias. Continue straight for about 5 kilometers until you reach the Cuevas de Talgua entrance. There is a small parking area available at the site.

From Santa Bárbara, take a bus heading towards La Esperanza. You can find these buses at the central bus station. The fare is approximately 50 Lempiras (about $2 USD). After about 30 minutes, get off at the junction for Cuevas de Talgua. From there, you can either walk (around 3 kilometers) or hire a local taxi for about 100 Lempiras (approximately $4 USD) to take you to the entrance of the caves.
