Getting There

Walking
Start at the central park of Santa Rosa de Copán, Parque Central. From the park, head north on Calle 1 until you reach the intersection with Avenida 5. Turn right onto Avenida 5 and continue straight until you reach the main road, CA-11. This should take around 15-20 minutes. Once you reach CA-11, turn left and walk for about 30-40 minutes. You will pass a few local shops and cafes; feel free to stop if you need refreshments. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Las Sepulturas. Eventually, you will see a sign indicating the entrance to Las Sepulturas, which is located on your right. The archaeological site should be accessible from the main road.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Santa Rosa de Copán. Start at the central park, Parque Central, and head north on Calle 1. When you reach Avenida 5, turn right and continue straight until you arrive at CA-11. Turn left onto CA-11 and cycle for about 30 minutes. Be cautious of traffic, as this is a main road. Look for the signs directing you to Las Sepulturas on your right. The distance is approximately 4 kilometers from the center of Santa Rosa de Copán to Las Sepulturas.

Tuk-Tuk
For a more comfortable option, you can hire a tuk-tuk from any point in Santa Rosa de Copán. Head to the central park, Parque Central, and look for a tuk-tuk driver. Communicate that you want to go to Las Sepulturas. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes, and you can enjoy the scenery along the way. The tuk-tuk will drop you off at the entrance to the site, where you can explore the archaeological area.
