If you are driving, start from the center of El Progreso. Head northeast on Avenida 1 until you reach Calle 3. Turn left onto Calle 3 and continue until you reach the intersection with Avenida 1ra. Turn right onto Avenida 1ra and continue for about 2 kilometers. You will see a sign directing you to Museo Ferroviario on your right. The museum's exact location is at coordinates 15.3946518, -87.8102922.
Public Transportation
To reach Museo Ferroviario using public transportation, take a bus from central El Progreso heading towards Colonia Sitraterco. Buses are frequent and cost around 10 Lempiras (HNL).
