Car
If you're driving from a central location in the Yoro Region, head towards the town of Yoro. From Yoro, take the CA-5 highway heading towards Tegucigalpa. After approximately 25 km, take the exit for the road leading to the town of Olancho. Continue on this road for about 30 km until you see signage for Cuevas de Talgua. The entrance is well-marked and parking is available near the site.
Public Transportation
To reach Cuevas de Talgua via public transport, first make your way to the main bus terminal in Yoro. Look for buses heading towards La Union or Olancho. The bus ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Cuevas de Talgua. From there, you may need to hire a local taxi or walk the remaining distance, which is about 5 km depending on the bus drop-off point.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi from Yoro to Cuevas de Talgua. This option can be arranged via local taxi services.
