Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Balatonfüred, head southwest on the 71 road. After approximately 10 km, take the exit toward Tihany. Continue on the Tihany peninsula road, following signs for Tihany. Once you reach the village, navigate to WV2J+GM, 8237, which is the location of Borsóköves-kúp. Parking is available nearby, but be mindful of any parking restrictions.

• Public Transportation

  From Balatonfüred, take the local bus line 65 towards Tihany. The bus runs approximately every 30 minutes. Disembark at the Tihany bus station. From there, you can either walk towards Borsóköves-kúp, which is about a 20-minute walk, or use a taxi service available at the station. Walking directions: head east on Kossuth Lajos utca, then turn right onto Fő utca, following signs towards Borsóköves-kúp until you reach the destination.

• Bicycle

  For those keen on cycling, you can rent a bike in Balatonfüred. Follow the cycling path to Tihany, which is approximately 10 km. Once in Tihany, navigate to the WV2J+GM area. The cycling path is scenic and suitable for all levels, though be cautious of traffic near the village.

• Walking

  If you are already in Tihany, you can reach Borsóköves-kúp by foot. Start from the center of Tihany and head towards the lakeshore. Follow the path that leads up the hill towards Borsóköves-kúp. This walk takes about 30 minutes and offers beautiful views of Lake Balaton.
