If you're driving, start by navigating to Mencshely, 8271. From the main road (Route 71), take the exit towards Mencshely. Follow the signs to Kossuth-kilátó, which is located on a hill overlooking Lake Balaton. There is parking available near the entrance to the site. Please note that parking may incur a small fee, so be prepared with some coins.
Public Transportation
To reach Kossuth-kilátó using public transport, take a train to Balatonfüred from Budapest or Székesfehérvár. Upon arrival at Balatonfüred train station, transfer to bus number 50 towards Mencshely. Once you arrive in Mencshely, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers uphill to reach Kossuth-kilátó. It's advisable to wear comfortable shoes, as the path can be steep.
Walking from Mencshely
If you're already in Mencshely, head north on the main road until you reach the sign for Kossuth-kilátó. The walk is about 1.5 kilometers and is mostly uphill, offering scenic views along the way. Ensure you have a map or GPS for navigation, as some paths may not be well-marked.
