Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the nearest major city, which is Budapest. Take the M2 motorway towards Vác. After about 30 km, take the exit towards Vác/Bajót. Continue on Route 12 until you reach Bajót. Once in Bajót, look for signs directing you to Jankovich Cave, which is located within the village. There is a small parking area available near the cave entrance.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train from Budapest to Vác. Trains run frequently from Budapest's Nyugati station to Vác. Once in Vác, you can take a local bus (such as Bus 8 or 8A) towards Bajót. Get off at the Bajót village stop. From the bus stop, follow the signs leading to Jankovich Cave, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
Walking
If you find yourself in Bajót and are approaching Jankovich Cave on foot, head towards the center of the village. Follow the main road that leads out of the village. The cave is well-marked with signs, and it is situated just a short walk from the center. Expect to spend about 15-20 minutes walking, depending on your pace.
