Public Transport - Metro and Bus
If you are starting from central Budapest, make your way to the Deák Ferenc tér metro station, which is accessible via Metro lines M1, M2, and M3. Once at Deák Ferenc tér, take Metro line M2 (the red line) in the direction of Örs vezér tere. Get off at the next stop, which is the Széll Kálmán tér station. From Széll Kálmán tér, exit the station and find the bus stop outside. Take bus number 29 towards Kékgolyó utca. After about 10 minutes, get off the bus at the Glück Frigyes út stop. From there, it’s a short walk to the Árpád lookout, which is located on Glück Frigyes út.

Walking
If you are near the Buda Castle, you can enjoy a scenic walk to the Árpád lookout. Start at the Buda Castle and head down towards the Funicular. From there, continue along the path that leads you towards the river. Walk along the Danube River until you reach the Margaret Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the signs towards the Óbuda district. Walk up to the hills following the trails until you see signs for the Árpád lookout. It’s a pleasant walk through nature with beautiful views along the way.

Tram and Walk
Starting from the city center, head to the nearest tram stop, for example, at the Nyugati pályaudvar (Western Railway Station). Take tram number 4 or 6 in the direction of Széll Kálmán tér. Get off at the Széll Kálmán tér stop. From there, walk to the bus stop and board bus number 29 heading to Kékgolyó utca. Alight at the Glück Frigyes út stop. Walk a few minutes down Glück Frigyes út, and you will reach the entrance to the Árpád lookout.
