Getting There

  • Public Transport - Metro

    Start at Deák Ferenc tér, the central metro station in Budapest. Take the M3 (blue line) towards Újpest-Központ. Alight at the third stop, which is Árpád híd (Arpad Bridge). Exit the station and head towards the bridge, crossing the Danube River. After crossing, continue straight until you reach the end of the bridge, then turn left. Walk for about 10 minutes along the riverside to reach the Centenary Monument located in the green space near the riverbank.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    From the city center, head to the nearest tram stop and take Tram 1 towards the direction of Képviselői Irodaház. Get off at the stop called 'Kossuth Lajos tér' (about 5 stops). From there, walk towards the Danube River, then head north along the riverbank for about 15 minutes until you reach the Centenary Monument in District XIII.

  • Walking

    If you are close to the Danube River, you can simply walk along the riverbank. Starting from the Parliament building, walk northwest along the river. After approximately 20 minutes of walking, you will see the Centenary Monument in the park area on your right. It is a pleasant walk with views of the river and the city.
