Walking
From the center of Vác, head southeast on Váci út towards the Váci Cathedral. Continue straight until you reach the bank of the Danube River. Once there, follow the riverside path towards the south. You will eventually come to a ferry terminal. Take the ferry across the Danube River to Budapest. Once you arrive in Budapest, exit the ferry and walk towards the nearest metro station, which is Batthyány tér. From Batthyány tér, take the M2 metro line (red line) towards Déli pályaudvar. Get off at the Kossuth Lajos tér station. Exit the station, and you will find the Statue of Gyula Andrássy in Kossuth Lajos tér.

Public Transport (Train and Metro)
Start at the Vác train station. Purchase a ticket to Budapest. Board the train heading towards Budapest Nyugati railway station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Nyugati station, exit the station and walk to the nearest metro station, which is Nyugati pályaudvar. Take the M3 metro line (blue line) towards Kőbánya-Kispest. Change at Deák Ferenc tér for the M2 metro line (red line) towards Déli pályaudvar. Get off at Kossuth Lajos tér station. Upon exiting the station, you will see the Statue of Gyula Andrássy in Kossuth Lajos tér.
